| What's
a Business Plan? |
A business
plan describes a company's plans for operations over the coming
months and years. It describes every aspect of the business, including
products & services, marketing, staffing, and facilities. Financial
projections are also central to any business plan. Since business
plans are such good summaries of operations, lenders and
investors demand to see them as tools for evaluating requests
for financing. |
| The
Right Tool for the Job |
Olson Business
Development business plans are written for the specific purpose
of acquiring financing. They tell lenders and investors what
they need to know in a language they understand. |
| A
Working Plan |
Once you've acquired
financing, you can use your business plan as a guide for
future operations. Use it as a reference for management decisions
and as a yardstick to measure actual financial performance. |
Custom-
Written |
We don't use pre-written,
canned business plans. Your Olson Business Development business
plan will be custom-written, just for you. |
| Fast |
Once we receive
your materials and discuss your plans for operations, we'll
prepare the first draft of your business plan within two weeks and
send it to you for your review . Look it over to make sure it presents
your plans for operations accurately and completely. Make any
corrections, additions, or revisions, and return a corrected
copy to us. Completion of the final draft usually takes only
a few days. |
| Easy |
We do most of the
work. Your job will be to:
- Complete our simple
business plan questionnaire
- Provide past financial
statements if the plan is for an existing business
- Discuss with
us your plans for operations
- Make revisions
to the draft version of your plan
|
| Affordable |
Most Olson
Business Development business plans cost only $1,500. That's
it. (Plans to be used to acquiring funding over $1 million require
higher fees.) Pay the entire fee up front and receive a 10% discount. |
| SBA-Ready |
Your business
plan will have everything it takes to pass SBA muster. Monthly 3-year
financial projections and 3-year projected balance sheets are
standard. Your certified SBA banker will be able to help you
with the simple SBA application process. |
| Experience |
Over the past 10
years, we've developed over 100 business plans for clients in
more than 30 states and the District of Columbia. We've helped
our clients obtain financing ranging from $20,000 to over
$1.45 million. We
can help you, too. |
